FEATURE RELEASE:  COMPLIANCE MATRIX

May 2009 -  The Compliance Matrix, a compliance monitoring service that provides added value to both contractors and employers. The new Compliance Matrix service is included as part of your Registry membership and allows:

  • Employers to quickly evaluate a contractor to see if they meet their minimal compliance requirements to go to work, and
  • Contractors to easily see if the data they have provided meets their employer’s needs.

The objective is for all contractors to be compliant (GREEN) - meaning the contractor is ready to go to work for the employers with the least amount of restrictions in the hiring process.

Value Added To Your Contractor Membership

As a contractor member you will be able to see how your health and safety data measures up to compliancy. The addition of a “Clients” tab on the main menu of your profile, allows you to view your requesting employer companies and their compliance matrices.

The new “Clients” feature tab includes:

  • A list of employer companies requesting your information
  • Your level of compliancy per employer company
    • Color coding:
      • Green = Low Risk
      • Yellow = Medium Risk
      • Red = High Risk
  • An explanation of the Compliance Matrix including the variables that flag your information as low, medium or high risk. YELLOW or RED does not mean you cannot work for these employers, it means that more restrictions are in place for a contractor to go to work.

Value Added To Your Employer Membership

The Compliance Matrix enables all employer members to monitor their contractors using a simple, color-coded identifier that reports whether each contractor has provided and maintained the amount of information required to be compliant with the standards set out by the Industry and that employer. Each level of compliance is associated and used in conjunction with the internal hiring process for that employer.
